Moto 360 black screen section is already being criticized

We've got to love the internet - the Moto 360 might be causing lots of people reconsidering using something on their wrists, but there already those that say that it should actually be called Moto 324 due to the unused black portion on the bottom of the screen.

Moto 360 about to become a "huge" disappointment?

The Moto 360 has made us forget about all other smarwatches since it first appeared; and the fear that it would cost a small fortune seems to have been put to rest by the $249 valuation Motorola has given in its own contest. So, everything's in place for the Moto 360 to become a huge success, right? Well... there's one "small" issue that might ruin it all.

Moto 360 will cost $249

The upcoming Moto 360 is one of the most desirable smartwatches we've been able to see for (although we haven't really seen much of it so far, other than it looks really good). But looking good and being amazing wouldn't mean much if you couldn't afford it. Considering you can now pay upwards of $100 for a simple fitness tracker and smartwatches like Samsung's Galaxy Gear 2 can cost about $300... most feared this Moto 360 would cost even more. Thankfully, that doesn't seem to be the case.

Motorola has been experiencing a huge success in the affordable range. Their Moto G and the new Moto E are big hits, providing people with great "bang-for-your-money" devices, and they seem to want to do the same with the Moto 360. Although we're still waiting for an official announcement, a design contest by Motorola for the creation of a Moto 360 watch face has stated that the first prize (a Moto 360) has a commercial value of $249.

If that's the case, we seem to have a winner in our hand (literally :) Though it may still be more expensive than you'd like, it sure beats having to pay $299 or even more for a piece of high-tech Googliness in your wrist (the Moto 360 will run Android Wear, which seems to rely a lot on Google Now to push you information you need when you need it without you having to do anything.)

So... what do you think about a $249 Moto 360? Will this be your first next-gen smartwatch this Summer?

Moto 360 - a stylish Motorola Smartphone for Android Wear

Google has just unveiled the way it will tackle the growing number of werable devices, with a dedicated version of it's Android plataform called Android Wear conceived specifically for this kind of devices, starting with smartwatches - but in the future expanding it to a lot of different devices.

The idea is having smart devices that will present us with the information we need just as we need it, and answering all our questions and voice commands, and in the video it looks great... though we'll have to wait a few more months till we see if it does so well in real life. Google should launch a "Nexus" smartwatch made by LG soon, but the smartwatch that really caught our attention was the Moto 360 by Motorola.

We haven't see a real working model, but if they succeed in turning the concept they've shown is into reality, I'm sure there will be a lot of people jumping into the smartwatch bandwagon. The Moto 360 really does look amazing, and we can only hope it will be available at an affordable price and have a decent battery life.

Check out the following videos to have a better feel about what Android Wear is all about and this amazing Moto 360 smarwatch that should be out in the Summer.
