Looks like Apple has gone wild with their emoticon symbols on the latest iOS6. Besides the regular couple icons, iOS6 now has lesbian and gay couple symbols as well. (Although some people argue these represent just children and not adult couples.)
Truth be told... I never had really noticed what "kind" of couple there were on these emoticons - I hardly ever use any of them, other than the occasional "smiley face" or "sad face". But... if you're indeed into smileys and emoticons, I'm sure you'll appreciated the extra attention to detail you'll soon be able to use... once iOS6 goes public (which is expected to happen around the time the new iPhone is launched.)
