How to change Home Launcher on Android 4.4 KitKat

The popup that often shows up in Android, asking you to choose an App to complete something, among several possible apps, and prompting you to select whether to use it only once, or use it as default from that moment on - I believe - is one of the most annoying things ever done. Why? Because I think a lot of people will keep selecting "just this once" day and day out, because they fear not to be able to change to some other app should they select it as always.

In Android 4.4 KitKat, things are finally easier, at least when it comes to trying out different launchers. Now that option is available right in the Settings menu, under "Home" (it only shows up if you happen to have an alternative launcher installed). This way, lots more users will feel confident enough to try out different launchers, knowing that they'll easily be able to revert back to the original one - as well as delete the ones they don't care about, without having to dig deep into the app section, finding out each launcher, etc.

I really don't know it changing launchers is something that most user actually do - and if it should be awarded such special consideration in order to show up in the main settings screen. But... I can't really say I mind having it there, if only for reassurance that it's easy to go back to the way things were.
