Low cost IP WiFi camera for $22

Want to keep an eye on your home while you're away, but don't want to spend too much money? How about a small WiFi camera that you can get for just $22?

This Sricam 720p is a WiFi IP camera that you can use to keep an eye on any place you wish, and that doesn't require you to have a computer permanently turned on (as it would happen with a regular webcam). The camera connects directly to your network and can be accessed using your smartphone or computer, and can even send you alerts when it detects motion. You can use a microSD card with it (up to 128GB) so it can record events for later inspection.

One other nifty feature is that this camera is ONVIF compatible. ONVIF is a surveillance camera standard, meaning you're not stuck with the software from a specific manufacturer - you can use any software or system that is ONVIF compatible and use this camera with it.

The only thing you might miss is that you can move this camera around remotely, as you can with PTZ cameras (pan-tilt-zoom), but that ends up being something you end up using very little in reality. Beside, with cameras like these costing just $22 it's not as if you can't buy a couple of them to cover the entire area you want to keep an eye on. :)
