Waze and Spotify get mutual integration

If you think that navigation and music apps have nothing in common, think again: Waze and Spotify are now integrated into eachother.

If you are one of those people that automatically launches Waze as soon as you enter the car, but also can't stop launching Spotify to hear their favorite playlists, then this mix is perfect for you.

In addition to being able to choose the Spotify playlist you want to hear while using Waze, you also get direct control over Spotify directly from the Waze app (though some features are only available when the car is stopped to reduce the risk of distractions). Conversely, if you give priority to the Spotify app, you can also see Waze's navigation directions while you're using Spotify, hopefully letting you reach your destination while listening to the musics of your choice.

Since Waze belongs to Google and Google has its own Music Play service, this partnership is a bit curious. On the other hand, Spotify is a much more popular music service than Play Music ... and so, it kind of makes sense for this partnership to happen. For now this integration will arrive only for Android users, and it may take a few weeks until it reaches them all.
