Android Messages secret emoticons

Google's Android Messages recently arrived on the web, allowing us to read and send text messages from our smartphone using the browser, and it comes with some "secret" emoticons that might come in handy.

Google is no stranger to adding secret emoticons and easter eggs to its message services (remember Hangouts secret emoticons?) and some have graduated to the new Android Messages as well.

More precisely, we're talking about "kaomoji", emoticons using Japanese characters to depict actions and emotions, which would be quite tedious to type if it weren't for the easier to remember - and type - shortcuts that follow. When you type the / "word", it gets expanded to the complete kaomoji:
  • /shrug or /shruggie — ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
  • /sunglasses or /dealwithit — ( •_•) ( •_•)>⌐■-■ (⌐■_■)
  • /tableflip — (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻
  • /tableback — ┬─┬ ノ( ゜-゜ノ
  • /that — (☞゚ヮ゚)☞
  • /this — ☜(゚ヮ゚☜)
  • /wizard — (∩ ` -´)⊃━━☆゚.*・。゚
  • /yuno — ლ(ಠ益ಠლ)
  • /success — (•̀ᴗ•́)و ̑̑
  • /happy — ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ
  • /facepalm— (-‸ლ)
  • /disapprove — ಠ_ಠ
  • /algebraic — | ( •◡•)| (❍ᴥ❍ʋ)
  • /praisethesun — \`[-|-]/

Sadly, some of the most elaborate emojis (and animations) we had on Hangouts didn't make the cut and aren't available on Android Messages... or should I say fortunately?
