CrunchPad almost ready

The CrunchPad (the low cost tablet PC from TechCrunch) is almost ready for prime time,'s looking better than ever.

Instead of plastic, it will have an aluminum case with a flush screen, and a thickness of just 18mm.

The tablet will boot directly (and hopefully, instantly) into a webkit-based browser:

Will this tablet initiate a new netbook-like craze in the upcoming months? Let's wait and see.
I sure would love to have one of these internet tablets around... I just wish they could use one of those new 3qi e-ink-like multi-mode LCDs.
