Gmail Finally Allows No New Auto-Contacts

At last, Gmail users will be able to rejoice. If you ever wondered why your contact list is populated with hundreds or thousands of people you've simply emailed some time or another in the past, but have no interest in keeping them as contacts: now you can finally get rid of it!

The Gmail team has done some small "big" fixes, which include not only the new Auto-save contacts setting which will help clean the contacts clutter; but also:

  • Better warnings for typos in email addresses,
  • Fewer annoying error pop-ups,
  • Easier transitions between certain actions
  • Keyboard shortcut guide for everyone, (try hitting Shift+? )
  • Refresh button (it was a link before)
