Live HD Streaming from Space

Although we can currently watch thousands of video streaming cameras located everywhere around the world, option drop drastically to zero when gaze up into the sky and wish you could look down on our planet.

What if we had a 24/7 HD video stream of our planet as seen from the ISS orbiting high above?

That's exactly what we're about to get, starting next year thanks to UrtheCast.

Looks like the first step into turning Google Maps imagery from the static photos we've all grown to love, to a real-time video feed that might, someday, offer the same high-resolution... in fully replayable video! ;)

(I know, the privacy implications alone would make it unfeasible for now - not to mention the technical aspects... but one can always dream.)
