Clear for iPhone is Now Available

If you remember my post about the Clear App for iPhone a while back, you'll like to know that the App is finally available at the App Store.

Why should a simple to-do list App stand out from the rest? Well, this app is the perfect example that there's still a lot to be done to adapt user interfaces to the new mobile devices that rely on touch rather than on mouse, keyboards or pointers on screen.

While a few years ago, such an App would be adorned with title and status bars, and buttons all around, to add, delete, edit, etc. this Clear App does without all that, and presents nothing but the actual list itself. Everything is accomplished via natural and intuitive gestures. (And truth be told, its looks would more likely be attributed to the new Windows Metro style than an iOS App! :)

The App is finally in the App Store, and I urge you to buy it - even if you don't really plan to use it - even if just as a way to support its developers.
