Yahoo Axis Browser

Yahoo might be a long way off its peak period, but it has just released a new product that seems to be receiving positive feedback: it's new Axis Browser. A browser for iOS (iPad and iPhone) that is also available on the desktop, as a "plug-in" for most popular browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer, and Safari.

The main thing you'll notice is that the search results are more visual than ever, with page thumbnails begin shown for most searches. But Yahoo reminds us of its customizable home page, its speed, and it's multi-device syncing - allowing to start a search on your PC, and seemlessly continue it on your iPhone or iPad.

However, its Chrome extension is currently under fire, as it seems to be providing Yahoo's certification file! Meaning, any attacker might create a malicious plugin for Chrome, and make it look like it's an official plugin coming from Yahoo!

Let's hope this gets sorted out as quickly as possible.
