Speed Difference between Android 4.1 and 4.0
One of the most visible things you'll notice about the new Android 4.1 Jelly Bean is that - at last - it seems to say goodbye to that odd slowdown/lagging feeling you had when using it. A lag that has received countless critics from users that have tried Apple's iOS devices - which even with slower hardware, are able to offer a more "fluid" interaction.
With the new Android 4.1, Google decided it was time to fix that once and for all, and thanks to Project Butter, we can now expect butter-smooth triple-buffered video and higher CPU priority to make all your actions flow like you'd expect.
But, one thing is saying it, other is to actually see it. So, nothing better than putting a Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich side-by-side with a 4.1 Jelly Bean... and have a look at it... through the eyes of a high-speed camera recording at over 100fps.
