Gmail 4.2 gets Swipes and Pinch to Zoom

Google is about to give a big gift to all Android Gmail users, with the upcoming Gmail 4.2 app. Although it took them a while, they finally listened to users and added pinch-to-zoom so you can zoom in and out of your emails to your heart's content.

But that's not all...

The new Gmail app also gets swipe gestures to archive or delete emails in a faster and more convenient way (just like you do to get rid of the notifications on Android 4.2). You can even configure how you want your swipes to work, to always delete your emails or archive/delete depending in where you are - or even not use swipes gestures at all.

You can also report phishing emails directly from the app - something you couldn't do until now.

Now... let's hope these new features will come to the iOS Gmail app as well. :)
