Red Bull Stratos about to Sky Drive from "Space"

Ever wondered what it would be to skydive from space back onto Earth? It may sound like science fiction, but it is in fact "science fact". Yes, Joseph Kittinger has jumped from the edges of space back in 1960... but now, 50 years later, the Red Bull Stratos team is getting ready - as we speak - to do even better.

Now, the goal os to skydive from an altitude above 120,000 feet - breaking several world records, including the longest, highest, and fastest skydiving jump (and keep in mind that at these altitudes, the jumper will break the speed barrier while falling down to the ground!)

But, a lot has changed since the 60's and today, Felix Baumgartner will be using all the latest high-tech gear, which means we'll be able to be with him every step of the way, on http://www.redbullstratos.com/live/ which is about to go live any moment now.

Godspeed Felix, see you back on the ground safely in a few minutes!

Quantos aos recordes que se esperam conseguir superar com esta missão:
