Brazilian Company Launches iPhone Brand of Androids

If you thought Apple vs Samsung patent wars were funny, just wait until you hear what's going on down in Brazil. A brazilian company has just announced they'll be launching a new range of Android smartphones under the name - wait for it - iPhone!

Yep, you're hearing it right. Apparently the iPhone trademark doesn't belong to Apple in Brazil, and more likely than not, Apple will end up settling it just like they did with the iPad brand in China. The brazilian company says they're the rightful owners of "iPhone" in Brazil since the year 2000.

Well, we'll have to wait a little longer to see how that pans out - but until then, better try and get one of these Android iPhones... as they might very well turn out to be valuable collector items. :)
