How to Capture Snapchat Photos Undetected

Snapshat is an App that incites you to send some naughty pictures, with the assurance they'll self destruct in a few seconds. Of course, it doesn't take a genius to figure out that the system is inherently flawed, as anyone might simply use another camera to snap a photo of the ephemeral moment while it is visible, and keep it for eternity. In the iPhone, you can even use the system screen-capture feature (home+power)... but, if you do so, the App detects what you've done and notifies the sender. Unless...

Yes, someone already figured out a simply way to capture a snapchat photo without alerting the sender. And it's quite simple to do it although you might want to practice a bit first.

All you have to do is to perform the usual screen capture home+power button press, while at the same time touching the screen. Then, while still touching the screen, you double click the home button to call the App bar.

And that's it... you'll now have a photo capture of the elusive snapchat photo, without the sender knowing about it. (Strangely enough, this technique doesn't work with Facebook's similar Poke app).
