Google Readies 2560x1600 Chromebook Pixel?
Looks like Google is readying a "retina-display" Chromebook, codenamed Chromebook Pixel, with a 2560x1600 screen (the original report talks states its 2560x1700... but I think it would make a lot more sense to use a standard resolution like 2560x1600, which is already used on the Nexus 10).
And just like on the Nexus 10, this screen is also multitouch capable, meaning the lines will be blurred even further as to whether you should consider an android tablet with a keyboard, or a chromebook with touchscreen.
The video does look to be professional enough to be real, but we all know just how far some people are willing to go to grab their 15 minutes of fame on the internet. In any case, just to be safe, it's better to postpone any decision regarding buying a Chromebook until this gets sorted out.
