How to show extension buttons in Chrome 28

If you're a Chrome user and you've already updated to the last version, you've probably noticed it looks "cleaner"; the extension buttons that usually show up to the right of the omnibox are gone, hidden away in a collapsed panel that you need to expand by clicking in the small arrow symbol.

This might not be on importance if you happen not to use any of the extensions frequently... but becomes a major pain if you do use any of those extensions extensively and frequently. Fortunately there is a simple way to fix it - and I'm going to save you the trouble of looking though all the available settings hidden away in Chrome menus.

The answer is absurdly simple: you need only click and drag the omnibox end to the left, in order to give extra space for the extensions you want to show.

So simple that it didn't even occur to me it could be as simple as that (and I guess a lot of other people might have been puzzled by it as well.)
