Another year goes by, making me realize I've began "blogging" over 7 years ago - mainly on my Portuguese blogs, but also trying to keep a daily post here in english (or at least, the kind of english my dyslexic fingers often type). No matter if you really into Christmas, or just consider it another "silly holiday season", it's always a special time to meet friends and family you may not be able to see for the rest of the year.
This year, Christmas gains a whole new dimension, as once again there's "magic" - this time seen through the eyes of my nearly 2 year old child - which is now old enough to understand what's going on around him (not to mention completely owing tablets and smartphones, as if he was born with an embedded instruction manual inside him. :)
[Yep, already trying to have him write the posts so I can rest for a while ;]
So, I wish you all a merry Christmas and a happy new year - and that 2015 will be best year of your life so far (only surpassed by the next, and the one after that, and so on.)
Should you ever come to Portugal (Porto more precisely), do let me know and I'll try to point you out in the right direction. If by any chance you happen to be around in the last saturday of the month, then you're invited to join our regular monthly meetings, where some of our readers/friends joing up for a long lunch with lots of tech talk (and more) - and even some "family editions" where even children tag along.
Should anyone still (wrongly) believe technology keeps people apart - feel free to use our example to prove them wrong. :)
