SkyBell is a WiFi enabled doorbell with camera

Ask anyone what's the first thing they would like to be able to do in a smart home, and most people will answer: being able to see who's ringing their doorbell when they're not at home. With SkyBell, you can do that and much more.

This SkyBell is WiFi enabled doorbell with an integrated camera, that allows you to see who's at your door and answer them just as if you were there, no matter where you may actually be. With this new improved version, the camera can now see a wider 140º field of view, and connection time has been greatly improved, meaning you'll be able to see a video stream in under 5 seconds.

Sure, you can find cheaper IP cameras around, but once you factor in the setup process, and the installation requirements (it's often not as easy as it sounds to place a IP camera in a place that can capture your visitors' faces as they ring or knock on your door), not to mention the two-way audio with decent enough quality, this SkyBell starts looking like a rather good deal.

The SkyBell also has a motion sensor, that allows it to send notifications if someone is at your door but doesn't press the button; and soon you'll also be able to schedule when such motion notification should be enabled or disabled, as well as get cloud-assisted video recording.

That should be more than enough to make you curious about this $199 smart doorbell that will allow you to keep an eye on your door at all times.
