The OnePlus 2 will be unveiled in a virtual reality event and OnePlus promised some enhanced cardboard VR goggles for fans around the world to enjoy it. Well, the VR cardboard goggles are now available, but you'll have to hurry to grab one.
As promised OnePlus is offering their VR cardboard goggles for free - as in, you'll just have to pay for the shipping (to Portugal it equates to 7 euro).
There are many cardboard VR goggles out there, but OnePlus says it has enhanced the usual design, making it more compact and using higher quality and durable cardboard, so they'll last longer. These goggles allow you to use smartphones with screens up to 6", and there's also a nice added touch: the cardboard has a special treatment to prevent them from staining with our greasy sking.
It all sounds good, but the tricky part is actually getting one. The site is being hammered by thousands of fans trying to get theirs, and it's almost impossible to log in to the site. You can (and should) keep trying... though it's highly likely the available cardboard VR googles will run out in a matter of minutes.
