Syotify turns YouTube into a Spotify "clone"

If you regularly use YouTube to listen to musics, you'll be pleased to know that Syotify makes an even better use of YouTube for music use, making it look more like Spotify.

If you like music but can't justify paying yet another subscription for a music streaming service, you'll probably be happy streaming the musics you want to hear on YouTube. And that's precisely what Syotify does, but adding a music oriented interface to it (there's also a Chrome extension).

You can search for your favorite bands, artists and songs, check the most popular artists, as well as listen to themed "radios" for each and every kind of music you may want to hear. Also, managing playlists become a much simpler affair compared to the regular YouTube, and you'd be pleased to use it even if just for this feature.

The only problem is that I suspect this Syotify won't be around for long, as it violates YouTube's terms of service by not showing the video. Some other projects have tried similar things in the past and they all were shutdown - or forced to change in order to follow YouTube's rules. Even if they have to add the video showing somewhere (maybe a small thumbnail?) I hope Siotify can survive that.

  1. We added the video back =) Thank you for the review.

  2. I will prefer this blog because it has much more informative stuff.
