How to run Android on your PC using Remix OS

Earlier this year we talked about Remix OS, the system that puts Android on your laptop or desktop PC. Today, we show you how it's done.

Using Remix OS is quite simple and, better yet, you can use it without actually messing around with your current system, as you can simply use it directly from a USB pen. Of course, you also have the option to install it on your computer - which may be the best case for older computers that struggle to run the latest Windows versions.

Creating a boot pen with Remix OS is quite simple:
  1. Download the latest Remix OS
  2. Extract the ZIP
  3. Run the Remix OS for PC installation tool
  4. Choose the ISO file from the extracted files
  5. Choose USB install and the drive unit of the USB pen you wish to install it on (keep in mind it will be completely erased)
  6. ... and that's it
Then you need only reboot your computer and boot from the USB pen (in Windows 10 you can also choose: Start->Power->Shift+Reboot->Use a device->EFI USB Device) and see how your computer handles Android.
