A new year is also a sign that we have a lot of new movies closing in, and there are more than a dozen that will be a "must-see" when they finally pop up on movie theaters in 2017.
We have movies like Alien: Covenant, Blade Runner 2049, Ghost in the Shell, Star Wars: Episode VIII, among others like War for the Planet of the Apes, Dunkirk, Transformers: The Last Knight, some reboots of "classics" like Friday the 13th Reboot and Saw: Legacy, and not forgetting others like Cars 3, Despicable Me 3, and Beauty and the Beast.
Now all we need is for our portuguese IMAX cinemas to upgrade to the 4K laser HDR projectors; or else people might start to question why they should pay €10 for a ticket when they can have a better experience watching movies at home on their 4K OLED TVs. ;)
