Activating MMS in iPhone 2G

The latest OS 3.0 update may have made the iPhone better than ever, but I still can't understand why Apple would want to ditch their older and most trusted customers.

For instance, why couldn't they enable MMS in the first iPhone model?

The iPhone 2G is just as capable of sending/receiving MMS as any other. There were apps around that did it... and now you can enable the native MMS support as well.

Sure it isn't as easy as having it as standard, but this is how you enable native MMS in the iPhone 2G.

Now all we need is the video and voice command support for the 2G/3G iPhones as well...

Mobile Blogging via SMS and MMS

If you've been wondering how you can keep posting to your blog when you're on vacations or away from a computer, you'll be pleased to hear about Blogger's mobile blogging tools.

If you like using the latest technologies, you'll probably be using draft.blogger.com already, and you're likely to have noticed the new icons next to each of your blogs.

Next to the email to blog feature (which was already available) you now have a small cell phone icon; that's where you can configure your SMS and MMS to blogger functionality.

You can even start a brand new blog from your cell phone if you want.

There are no more excuses to keep you from posting wherever you are...
Mobile blogging on old mobile phones can be very tedious, however if you pick up one of the lastest Android or iPhone smartphones, things can be a lot easier!

MMS on the iPhone

If you've never considered an iPhone because of its lack of MMS capability... rejoice!
The iMMS app from Vodafone is already up and running, and it allows you to send and receive MMS in your iPhone.

Though I don't personally miss MMS, there are people who use it a lot, and now they'll have no excuse to rule out the iPhone.
