Session Buddy for Chrome

While I spend more and more time using Chrome (and less and less using Firefox) there are still a few things that really annoy me.

Today, I'm pleased to announce that there will be one less from now on, thanks to this Chrome extension: Session Buddy.

While there are a lot of good things about Chrome, managing multiple windows is not really one of them.

Who hasn't lost a few dozen open tabs simply by closing a Chrome Window, and then realizing you had another empty Chrome window floating around unnoticed?
Yes... it will remember that "one"... but all your other precious opened tabs in the "main" window will be lost forever... unless you use Session Buddy.

With Session Buddy you can easily manage multiple sessions (each one comprised of multiple windows/tabs) and never fear losing your tabs again.
You can create your sessions at will (one for work related stuff, one for "fun stuff", one for reference and investigation purposes, one for photo work/sites, etc.) It's up to you.

Highly recommended extension that really should be integrated into Chrome as standard!

Check your Firefox Plugins

If you use Firefox, you're certainly aware of internet browsing safety and security issues.
Most of the time the problem isn't the browser itself but some installed plugin, like the ones used to play Flash content, read PDF files, run Java, etc.

Having outdated versions of these plugins is often critical, and that's why mozilla has made it easier for you ti check and update all your browser plugins. You just need to visit:

Now there are no more excuses to keep outdated plugins in your system!

Diagrams and SVG Add-ons for Firefox

As you're probabaly aware, one of Firefox's greatest strengths is its infinite ability to learn new tricks via extensions and add-ons. Today, I present you three Firefox add-ons that will simplify your drawing and animation tasks.

Ever had the need to draw some diagrams? You should give this Pencil a try.

If you're more into fast SVG editing, then maybe svg-edit will suit your needs better.
