Game of Thrones World Recreated in Minecraft
If you're not aware of the Minecraft phenomena, let me just say that it can be looked upon as a digital version of LEGO. That is, you are free to create entire worlds using small the small blocks this game provides. And although that takes time (just like assembling LEGO worlds), you'd be surprised with the scale and complexity some people put into their creations.
For instance... how about strolling through the Game of Thrones cities in Minecraft.

As an ending note, you might like to know that there's know a free Minecraft edition for the Raspberry Pi, which might be just what you need to lure your children into these amazing digital worlds, and let their imagination run free creating new stuff (and at least, it will be a lot let expensive than buying LEGO sets.)
