XKCD "What if?" book

Randall Munroe might have worked at NASA, but nowadays you'll probably now him better as the creator of the always amazing XKCD. Besides the regular stick figure comics, one of the most curious sections of his site is the absurdly brilliant "what if" dedicated to all sort of ridiculous questions... that he tries his best to answer in a seriously scientific way.

There are simply too many questions there to mention, but you can find things like what English word has the most consecutive letters on the same key; or is there enough paint to paint the entire planet; or how much would the sea level fall if every ship were removed all at once from the Earth's waters.

The good news is, after his Xkcd: volume 0 book we'll now be able to get the What If book (what if? in Amazon UK).

We're still a few months away from it, but don't let that keep you from pre-ordering this book right away. If you follow Randall's work closely you'll know this new book will be mind blowing funny and informative... and a way to make your mind twist and turn into solving the most absurd hypothetical questions the human race has come up with - in seriously scientific way... for the most part.

P.S. Suffice to say, I've already preordered mine! :)
