Google Browser - Chrome

It seems Google is working on its own open-source browser, codenamed Chrome.

Although it's based on the Webkit rendering engine, it will have some nice features:
  • Integrated Google Gears for offline work.
  • Much improved Javascript performance.
  • Special Tabs
  • Smart auto-complete url input box
  • Privacy mode - called "Incognito"
(among others.)

Will they be able to stand against the other heavyweight browsers?

Update:
Guess we won't have to wait long to check it out for ourselves. :)
We will be launching the beta version of Google Chrome tomorrow in more than 100 countries.
